Maremne: Landes (Biscay)

The Maremne (Latin maritimu ) is a former viscount centered on the old delta of the Adour, Bayonne now disappeared after got the opportunity to "hijack" the river to his advantage through the new mouth of Boucau. The main town of Capbreton Maremne is the last port before Gascon miles of dunes that do not stop at Arcachon.
