Hendaye: Labourd (Basque Country)

The country of Labourd (Lapurdi in Basque) is the result of a dismemberment of the ancient city of which Tarbell Capital was Aquae Tarbellicae (Dax today). If the region of Hendaye is now the eastern border of Labourd Bidassoa dividing Labourd of Guipuzcoa, it has not always been so since the city of Tarbell and the dioceses of Dax and Bayonne extended to Saint Sebastian.

Labourd (Lapurdi in Basque) Was Born Out Of The Dismantling Of The City of the form The Capital of Tarbell Which WAS Aquae Tarbellicae (modern Dax). We are here in a classic Atlantic variability grasped already here, even if the phenotype is not as dominant as it can be elsewhere, eg in the Vendee. Obviously we meet individuals of darker complexion.
