Hendaye: Labourd (Basque Country) The country of Labourd (Lapurdi in Basque) is the result of a dismemberment of the ancient city of which Tarbell Capital was Aquae Tarbellicae (Dax today). If the region of Hendaye is now the eastern border of Labourd Bidassoa dividing Labourd
of Guipuzcoa, it has not always been so since the city of Tarbell and the dioceses of Dax and Bayonne extended to Saint Sebastian.
Labourd (Lapurdi in Basque) Was Born Out Of The Dismantling Of The City of the form The Capital of Tarbell Which WAS Aquae Tarbellicae (modern Dax). Even though The Region of Hendaye Is Now At The eastern border of Labourd As The Bidasoa River Divides Labourd from Gipuzkoa, The Tarbell Then The Diocese of Dax and Bayonne extended as far as St. Sebastian.

Unsurprisingly, the region is largely dominated by racial type basque, well defined. There is a variant of this type more brachymorphic.
Unsurprisingly, this area IS Largely Dominated by The Well Defined Basque ethnic type. A braoder-faced varying Can Be found.

This is a type of small but fairly typical among Basques, more frequent in other Basque regions as we shall see. Note that some individuals have a pseudo-prognathism.
