Temazepam 20mg Dental Treatment

North by Northwest (Hitchcock)

course, far be it from me just cite a summary, a synopsis or a review of this legendary film, as everyone knows by heart absolutely, since all channels, he must go regularly 3 or 4 times a year for decades ...
No. I would rather take the opportunity to illustrate the sentence of Alfred Hitchcock (The World , 1955): " I do not want the plot follows the technique. I adapt the technique to the plot. A nice shooting angle can cause an effect that meets the chief operator, or even the director. But the question is whether, dramatically, this plan is the best way to tell the story ( award that a lot of directors would do well to ponder today, incidentally) ...
Perhaps this is due to my job as a musician, but as I do not like going to concerts (I like them, lol), I do not fond of movies, while DVD technology allows me to explore relentlessly, like a sonata or a symphony, the works that I really like. And tonight (DSL for this long introduction, but patience, the pictures will come!), In the light of this sentence from the master, I noticed in North by Northwest small number of "details" that never really struck me, and I wanted to share with you, starting with this most enigmatic generic lines while moving:

Who eventually lead to this, the UNESCO building, the key moment of the film (see photo No. 5), from which Cary Grant, previously considered at worst a simple alcoholic or a liar, is going to suddenly find themselves propelled to the rank of murderer wanted by all fonts:

As everyone knows (at least I hope so. .. we do not accuse me of making a "spoiler" in a work dating back 50 years!), this film revolves around three major themes: 1) innocence (and impossible love) 2) "reason of state", against which even the police is powerless 3) the world of secrecy and espionage. So many reasons to admire, using two planes only "dumb", the perfect setting in abyss of the film as a whole, from the very beginning, Cary Grant stamped by the police itself pressed by a car not -identified, while a car even more mysterious is dissolved in the complete darkness:

brilliant, is not it? As this very bold plan, which shows Cary Grant flee UNESCO following the murder of which he is supposed be the author, and which I believe is the most perfect illustration of Alfred Hitchcock About cited earlier in this section, a plan that is absolutely without any gratuity, leaving her alone by framing guess the immense pressure state faces a single man (yes, Cary Grant is the tiny black spot now rush to the taxi rank, click to enlarge!):

Good. I think it is useless to revert to the next scene, so well known and so legendary it has often been parodied or referred to, particularly in the famous Arizona Dream Emir Kusturica (I love that movie, but this is not the opinion of everyone in general!), As well as the atrocious final Seven, David Fincher:

few drops of distilled anguish in total silence, with frames to cut with a knife, a large class, what ...

By his own admission, Hitchcock would have tried here to do the opposite absolute typical scenes of attacks by gangsters, who were passing at the time still in the dark in plants abandoned, with a soundtrack apocalyptic ... Hence the attack in the desert, shot in bright sunlight, and without any music:

But one of my friends had a different theory, equally valid, I think, by which Hitchcock would have had this great idea as an inspiration, or a kind of "revelation", say, the famous explanation "logic" not coming in reality only a posteriori :

As I know the world of music, I would say that the two assumptions are possible (and more, not necessarily contradictory). It is certainly the one hand the artists that make up "as they piss" (Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, among others), sometimes to the point of not even remember what they had written before, and the other the "laborious", who constantly call them on their trade volume (Beethoven, Bruckner, etc. .)... And then? The only important thing is what they want to hear, or see - as a work completed - vis-à-vis the public, and there is only this that should concern us!

short! Back on topic with that other high-level symbolic the famous "reason of state", the innocent Cary Grant and even the head of the secret services both overwhelmed by even stronger than both of them:

As that other magical plane where pine forest seems really a metaphor for all the obstacles that prevent Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint to love freely:

Even better, towards the end of the film begins when James Mason understand the treachery of his mistress Eva Marie Saint, a camera movement itself amazing that exactly matches the words (I do not know how he did it, a kind of circular crane, perhaps?):

course, everyone knows the sublime end on Mount Rushmore by heart! But again, how are framed the (very small) characters face (very large) Presidents of the United States alone is a wonderful illustration of the theory of teacher quoted at the beginning of the Blog, that no plan should be done lightly (which Cronenberg theory, needless to say, will make its "Whey" him in any plan that is almost always "over-served" and who hates the "useless" transition plans):

Good. Just for the road, a small reminder of the final two ellipses, so famous that they should be taught in all schools of cinema in the world ... The first, or you can slip Cary Grant catching in extremis the hand of Eva Marie Saint in trouble on Mount Rushmore :

To all of a sudden find themselves abruptly thrust into the same cab sleeper who had seen their first lovemaking:

And of course the second, where even people who do not are named Sigmund Freud and not called immediately see what it is, lol!

Or is there are large gaps in their education, XD!

PS: Nothing to see, but thanks to Lunapei , I just added a new link in my right column, The Yodablog ... If you're a fan of the Star Wars saga , please make a small turn, you will not regret it, that's great!
