Poor French cinema, in complete disrepair for years (if not decades), yet having experienced a great era, that of Melville, malls, Truffaut, and even - a must - one of Lautner! Fortunately, the next generation is here, as I told you at the very beginning of this post as a nod to the great Clint, and you'd be surprised at all that young people can get to do with three pieces of string, as long as it is the desire, passion and creativity (remember David Lynch from more than two years to sleep in a disused hangar to achieve Eraser Head )!

Two examples: first, the short film Vincent, age 22, born in the Tarn, Webmaster of The Lantern and co-author of the short film The Memoirs of the Dawn :

It is also important to note that this little film, made with professional equipment of the CSEC , is claimed by its authors (eight!) as a collective work, everyone who participated in the scenario and the cutting of the script to the sound. Speaking of sound, it is also noteworthy that the soundtrack Camille Galinier is quite interesting, varied, and agreeing well with multiple atmospheres suggested by this short film navigates between reality and fantasy, a bit like the fabulous Deconstructing Harry States Woody Allen (that's my opinion and I share it)!

In a completely different genre, but also poetry, numerous short Zun , 34 year resident of Biarritz, which makes it in total cons by "amateur" (in the truest sense, "one who loves"), with a small band of friends and a lot less material upscale This does not prevent great accomplishments, such as this one, which is my preference (but there are many others on the site in question), Sola :

Although not officially awarded at Festival Fifava, Zun is obtained - which is far more important - a very favorable reception from the public, and especially criticism, as you will read on article Fifava , published on his other site, Zun, the Blog!

I see all this great energy, talent, and especially (something much more rare) poetry: like this, there is no reason to despair of the future!
